Pre-6, you lose sustained poke to Ashe's W and Ezreal's Q at equal range, and you cannot reliably all-in without Nautilus landing Q first — the lane is even to slightly losing until Nautilus gets a clean engage.
Post-6, you win decisively because your R provides long-range execute pressure on low-health targets after Nautilus R lands, and Ezreal cannot E away from a targeted Nautilus R.

Your best trading pattern is to wait for Nautilus to land Q or E-slow, then immediately use your W to root the target in place and unload your 4th auto for maximum damage — do not initiate trades yourself since Ashe's E blind negates your autos and Ezreal's Q outranges your safe poke window.
Save your E trap for the escape path Ezreal will use after Nautilus Q lands.
