Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and poke with Q in ranged form, but must respect Tryndamere's all-in potential if he gets on top of you.
- Post-6 you lose extended trades due to his R, but can still win short trades and maintain lane control through proper spacing.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is Q poke in ranged form followed by E if he engages, then switch to hammer form for W auto reset and E knockback to disengage.
- Never commit to extended trades - use your range advantage to chip him down with Q-E combos while maintaining safe distance.
Wave Control
- Push early waves to establish range advantage and deny his CS, but be careful not to overextend past river without vision.
- Maintain slow pushes or neutral waves mid-game to avoid giving him easy all-in opportunities when the wave is in bad positions.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never stay in melee range after using hammer form abilities - you must immediately create distance or you'll lose to his sustained damage and crit RNG.
- Don't waste your E knockback on minions or use it aggressively without knowing where their jungler is, as it's your only reliable escape tool.
