Who Wins
- You dominate pre-6 with superior range, poke, and burst damage, but lose most all-ins post-6 if Irelia lands E and has passive stacked.
- Your level 1-2 spike is massive - getting level 2 first allows you to completely zone her with Q-E.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is Q-E poke in ranged form, then switch to melee for Q-W-E if she engages, immediately switching back to ranged to kite.
- Never stay in melee form extended trades as her sustained damage with passive outscales yours.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or freeze to keep the wave in the middle, allowing maximum poke opportunities while staying safe from ganks.
- Avoid hard shoving as it gives her safe farming under tower and removes your ability to poke.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your E knockback defensively too early, as it's your only disengage tool when she commits with R.
- Getting caught in melee form without E available when she has R and passive stacked usually results in death.
