Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and poke with Q+E combos, forcing Anivia to use mana inefficiently for farming.
- Post-6 you lose the 1v1 as Anivia's R zone control and passive make extended trades heavily favor her, especially if she lands Q stun.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading is Q+E poke from max range followed by immediate retreat, avoiding Anivia's Q retaliation.
- Never commit to melee form trades unless Anivia has no mana or missed Q, as her W+R combo will zone you out of favorable positioning.
Wave Control
- Push early waves hard with Q+E to establish lane priority before Anivia gets waveclear, then maintain slow pushes to deny her roam timers.
- After level 6, focus on side lane pressure and avoid extended laning as her R makes farming safe and trading unfavorable.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't get baited into all-ins when Anivia has passive up, as the egg form gives her team time to respond while you're committed.
- Avoid fighting in narrow spaces or jungle skirmishes where her W can easily trap you in R damage.
