Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win this matchup cleanly at level 2 and 3 once you have E, because Warwick's entire damage and sustain model depends on autos and Q, both of which your E blocks or punishes.
- Post-6, your R passive stacks combined with E make you a significantly stronger sustained duelist, and Warwick's R fear is the only real threat — if you can E before he Rs, you negate the fear's trade value.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to let Warwick walk up, activate E preemptively, absorb his Q or auto attempts, then detonate E into a Q combo and extended auto chain with W active.
- The key is activating E slightly before he commits so the stun lands at the end of his aggression, maximizing the punish window.
Wave Control
- Slow-push or freeze the wave to force Warwick into unfavorable all-in territory where he must either take bad trades or fall behind in CS.
- If you freeze near your tower, he cannot safely Q you without risking a full combo under tower, and his wave clear is weak enough that he cannot easily break the freeze.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not get baited into using E reactively against his Q animation — Warwick players will sometimes Q from range just to bait your E, then wait out the cooldown before re-engaging.
- Also avoid ignoring his R entirely; even though you can E before it, a mistimed E means you eat the full fear duration and he heals significantly while you are stunned.
