- You lose early trades pre-6 due to Vladimir's Q sustain and your lack of gap closing without minions nearby.
- Post-6 you win all-ins if you can stick to him, as your R gives you the stats to outduel him through his W pool.
How to Trade
- Jump on him with Q when he steps up for CS, then immediately E to dodge his empowered Q and get the stun off.
- Walk away after the stun lands since extended trades favor him with his sustain and kiting potential.
Wave Control
- Keep the wave in the middle or slightly pushing toward him so you have minions to Q to for gap closing.
- Avoid hard shoving as this gives him free farm and removes your engage options.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't chase him through his W pool or waste your Q leap when no minions are nearby for follow-up.
- Getting kited after using Q leaves you vulnerable to his full combo and jungle ganks.
