Who Wins
- You lose early trades pre-6 due to Gangplank's Q poke and barrel zoning, but can start winning extended trades around level 3-4 when you have Q-W-E available.
- Post-6 you win all-ins decisively with R's defensive stats and sustained damage output.
How to Trade
- Look for Q-E-W combos when Gangplank wastes Q on minions or steps up for barrel placement.
- Your E blocks his Q damage and auto attacks, so activate it right before engaging to absorb his burst.
Wave Control
- Let Gangplank push early levels since you can't contest his poke effectively, then freeze near your tower to force him to overextend for CS.
- Once you hit your power spikes, you can start slow pushing to build minion advantages for trades.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't try to trade when Gangplank has barrels set up around him, as he can instantly proc them for massive damage and movement speed.
- Avoid using Q aggressively without E available, as you'll take free poke walking back through his minions.
