Who Wins
- Darius wins levels 1-3 due to superior base damage and Q sustain while you lack mobility and damage.
- At level 6, you can start winning all-ins if you dodge his Q outer ring with your Q and use E to block his auto attacks during extended trades.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trade is Q onto him, activate W for the empowered auto, then immediately E to dodge his Q and block follow-up autos before disengaging.
- Never trade without E available as his passive stacks will overwhelm you in extended fights without the defensive tool.
Wave Control
- Maintain a slow push early to avoid being frozen on, but don't hard shove as you're vulnerable to ganks without E.
- After level 6, you can start building larger waves to create all-in opportunities when your cooldowns are up.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never fight him in his minion wave early game as the minion damage combined with his kit will kill you.
- Don't waste your Q to gap close without having E ready, as you'll be stuck in melee range with no escape from his ghost or flash engage.
