Who Wins
- You lose most early trades because Sett’s base stats and Q resets beat your level-1–3 pattern unless you can reliably auto + Q reset through minions to fully stack passive.
- Even at level 6 you don’t win straight all-ins unless Sett misplays his W timing.
How to Trade
- You want to stack passive on minions then Q through the wave to engage with E stun, auto-attack, then Q back through minions to disengage before he can land W.
- Avoid extended trades without your passive stacked as his sustained damage and grit buildup will overwhelm you.
Wave Control
- You should maintain a slow push to build up minions for Q resets, but avoid hard shoving as this leaves you vulnerable to his all-ins without escape routes.
- Keep the wave slightly on your side to have minions available for Q mobility while denying him long lane opportunities.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must avoid fighting him when he has high grit (yellow bar) as his W will deal massive true damage and provide a shield.
- Never engage without your passive stacked or minions nearby for Q resets, as you'll be stuck in melee range where his superior base stats dominate.
