Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades if you can stack passive on minions and engage with full stacks, as Cho'Gath lacks mobility to escape your all-in potential.
- Post-6 becomes more dangerous as his R execute threshold combined with W silence can shut down your combo, making extended trades risky.
How to Trade
- Stack passive on minions, then Q to a low minion near Cho'Gath, immediately E-E for the stun, auto-W-auto for passive procs, then Q out to a minion if he tries to retaliate.
- Avoid trading without passive stacks as your base damage is insufficient against his natural tankiness and sustain.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to build minion advantages for passive stacking, but be cautious of overextending as Cho'Gath's Q-W combo can set up jungle ganks easily.
- After level 6, maintain minion control near your side to have Q reset options for escaping his all-in potential.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never engage without passive stacks or minions to Q to for escape routes, as Cho'Gath's W silence will leave you unable to use abilities while he lands free Q-R combo.
- Don't underestimate his damage after 6 stacks - his R true damage combined with base kit can one-shot you if you're not careful with your health management.
