Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and sustain, as your Q outranges Zaahen's abilities and provides consistent healing while he struggles to build Determination stacks.
- Post-6 becomes more even since his R can match your teamfight presence, but you still edge out 1v1s if you land E before he engages.
How to Trade
- Look to poke with Q when he approaches minions, then immediately back away to avoid his W pull into extended trades.
- If he commits with E dash, use W on yourself for the slam damage and healing, as he'll be in melee range where your kit excels.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish Q poke dominance, then maintain a slow push to build up tentacles around your side of the lane.
