Who Wins
- You lose levels 1-3 to his superior range and E engage threat, struggling to match his poke damage early.
- At level 6 you become dominant - your R turns any extended fight heavily in your favor and negates his execute potential through massive healing.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to bait his E with positioning, then W onto him when it's down for sustained trades.
- Use Q to poke when he's in range, and always look for R opportunities when he commits - the healing and damage will win extended fights.
Wave Control
- Accept early CS deficits and focus on not falling too far behind while scaling to 6.
- Once you have R, you can start forcing longer trades and controlling larger areas with tentacle placement to zone him from farm.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't chase extended trades without tentacles nearby - his range advantage and W shield make short trades favor him.
- Never let him poke you down to R execute range without having your own R available to heal back up.
