LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Lux has longer effective poke range with her E and a root that punishes any misstep, so you are not winning straight trades early; post-6, the matchup becomes more even because your sustained multi-spell combos can match or exceed her burst if you avoid her Q, but she still has a global-range R that can execute you after any failed trade.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use your Q sub-spells to apply pressure from max range and bait out her E or Q, then commit to a full combo sequence only after her root is on cooldown — her cooldowns are long enough that a well-timed all-in after a whiffed Q wins the trade decisively.
Wave Control
- Use your W sub-spells to clear waves efficiently and deny Lux the ability to shove freely, keeping the wave near your side of the lane so her roam threat with R is reduced and she is forced to stay in lane; a neutral or slightly pushed-in wave also limits her ability to set up E-Q poke angles safely.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand still while casting your multi-spell sequences — Lux will Q you mid-animation since your combos have visible wind-up, and a root into E detonation into R will end your health bar before your combo resolves.
