Who Wins

  • Pre-6: You lose most trades due to Yasuo's superior mobility and ability to dash through minions for favorable positioning.
  • Post-6: You win extended fights if you can land R and force him to fight in your W zone.

How to Trade

  • Look for trades when Yasuo uses E aggressively on minions and has no escape path back.
  • Use E to gap close, then Q repeatedly while he's forced to fight in melee range without his mobility.

Wave Control

  • Push waves early to deny Yasuo minions for his E dashes, but be prepared to use W defensively when he has tornado stacks.
  • After level 6, look for slow pushes to create large minion waves that limit his mobility options.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste W preemptively or use it poorly positioned where he can simply walk into the zone.
  • Avoid fighting in large minion waves where his E mobility is maximized and he can easily kite your Q stacks.
