Who Wins
- You lose early levels 1-3 due to Olaf's superior base damage and Q poke harass, but can trade back with Q stacks if he commits.
- At level 6, you become much stronger as your R provides significant damage and healing while Olaf's R is mainly defensive utility.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern involves stacking Q on minions first, then using W for safety while landing empowered Q and passive procs on Olaf.
- Always try to trade when you have Q stacks ready and use W to avoid his axes while maintaining damage output.
Wave Control
- Focus on farming safely early and using Q to last hit from range when possible to avoid Olaf's Q harass.
- After level 6, you can start looking for longer trades with R active, but still respect his early game damage advantage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never trade extended fights early game without Q stacks and W available as Olaf's sustained damage with W active will outdamage you.
