Who Wins

  • Pre-6: You lose short trades to his E but can win extended fights with Q stacks and passive healing if you use W properly to avoid his stun.
  • Post-6: The matchup becomes more Jax-favored as his R passive gives him sustained damage that matches your DPS while being tankier.

How to Trade

  • Look for extended trades when you have Q stacks built up, use W to dodge his E stun, then continue trading with empowered autos and additional Q casts.
  • Save E dash to either engage after dodging his stun or to disengage when his cooldowns reset.

Wave Control

  • Focus on farming safely and scaling rather than fighting for early wave control, as his early game pressure is stronger.
  • Look to slow push and crash waves when possible to get safe recalls, using W defensively if he tries to all-in during your push.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste W reactively after he's already on top of you with Q-E combo, as you'll still take the stun damage and be vulnerable when it ends.
