Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades through superior sustain and DPS in extended fights, as Fizz lacks the damage to burst you early.
- Post-6 becomes Fizz-favored since his R gives him kill pressure that your W cannot reliably counter due to its predictable positioning.
How to Trade
- Look for extended trades when Fizz uses Q aggressively, then use E to stick to him while he's on cooldown and stack Q for maximum damage.
- Your W should be saved to avoid his E damage rather than used proactively, as good Fizz players will wait out obvious W usage.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish priority and deny Fizz easy roaming opportunities, but transition to freezing once he hits 6.
- You want to force him to overextend for CS where you can punish with your superior sustained damage output.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste W preemptively or use it immediately when Fizz engages, as he can simply wait it out with E or disengage.
- Avoid trading when your E is down post-6, as you lack the mobility to escape his all-in combo once he lands R.
