Who Wins
- You win most 1v1s pre-6 through superior sustain and all-in potential, especially at level 2-3 when you can Q-E combo.
- Post-6 you maintain the 1v1 advantage since your R executes while his R is primarily utility, though extended trades become riskier due to his armor scaling.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is Q into immediate E spin, then back off to avoid extended trades where his Q poke and armor become problematic.
- Use your passive to sustain between trades and look for all-ins when he's low on mana or has used Q recently.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish priority and deny his safe farming, but be prepared to freeze near your tower once he gets armor items.
- You want to create opportunities for all-ins rather than letting him scale safely into mid-game teamfights.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't chase extended trades once he completes Frozen Heart or similar armor items, as your damage falls off significantly.
- Avoid using Q to engage when his Q is available, as the slow makes it difficult to stick to him for a full E duration.
