Who Wins
- Pre-6 you have the advantage through Q poke, barrel chip damage, and the ability to disengage with W before he can fully commit — post-6 the matchup flips hard because his R suppresses you through your W and his healing in a prolonged fight outscales your damage output.
How to Trade
- Use E barrels to zone him off CS and force him to take chip damage just to farm; when he steps up to trade, Q him to proc your passive, then immediately W to remove his Q slow and disengage before his W healing becomes relevant — never let trades go long.
Wave Control
- Maintain a slow-push or freeze near your tower to deny him the ability to all-in you with R from a safe distance; a frozen wave forces him to overextend to reach you, giving you time to barrel-combo him as he walks up.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use W reactively to cleanse his Q slow after he has already closed the gap — by that point his W healing is active and you are in melee range where he wins; W must be used proactively to escape before the extended trade begins.
