Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 through Q poke range advantage and passive shield trades, forcing Ekko to use potions early.
- Post-6, you lose isolated 1v1 kill pressure but maintain better teamfight presence and can match his roams with R.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is Q poke when Ekko goes for CS, then passive auto when he retaliates with Q.
- If he E's onto you, immediately W-charge for taunt into Q-passive combo, which wins most extended trades.
Wave Control
- You should maintain slow push states with Q spam to build minion advantages, then crash for recalls or roam timers.
- Avoid hard shoving constantly as it gives Ekko free roam windows - instead use your wave control to deny his mobility.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste W defensively against Ekko's poke - save it for when he commits with E, as mistiming it gives him free electrocute procs.
- Never use E aggressively without vision, as Ekko's R makes him nearly ungankable while you're extremely vulnerable when E is down.
