Who Wins

  • Pre-6 you lose trades due to Zed's superior range and poke with Q-E combo, but post-6 you win all-ins if you dodge his R with your E.
  • Your E makes you untargetable during his ultimate cast, completely negating his burst potential.

How to Trade

  • Wait for Zed to use Q for waveclear, then engage with Q onto him followed by W auto and E out to avoid retaliation.
  • Never trade when his Q is available as he'll out-damage you with Q-E-auto combo from range.

Wave Control

  • Let Zed push early levels and farm safely under tower since you can't contest his waveclear.
  • Post-6, look to freeze the wave near your tower to create all-in opportunities when he overextends.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Never use E aggressively for damage early game as it's your only escape tool against his superior range and damage.
  • Don't get poked down below 60% HP pre-6 or you'll be vulnerable to his level 6 all-in even with E available.
