Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through short trades with W auto-reset and E to dodge Veigar's Q poke, but avoid extended fights since you lack sustained damage.
- Post-6 you heavily favor the matchup as your R-E-Q combo can 100-0 Veigar while your E makes you untargetable during his E stun.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is W auto-reset followed by immediate E to dodge his Q retaliation, then disengage before he can land follow-up damage.
- Never commit to extended trades without your E available as Veigar will out-damage you with Q spam and passive stacking.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to hit 6 first and deny Veigar safe Q stacking, but be careful not to overextend without vision since you're vulnerable to ganks.
- After 6, look for roam timings when Veigar is farming under tower as he can't match your mobility.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use E aggressively for poke or waveclear as it's your only escape tool and gap closer for all-ins.
- Avoid fighting in Veigar's E cage without your E available, as you'll be trapped and easily killed by his burst combo.
