  • You win most pre-6 trades if you can land E on Sylas, but his Q poke and sustain from W make extended trading unfavorable.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is E onto Sylas, auto-W-Q combo, then immediately back off before he can respond with his full combo.
  • Avoid extended trades where his W healing and lower cooldowns give him the advantage.

Wave Control

  • You want to push early levels to get priority, then look for roam timings since Sylas outscales you in teamfights.
  • Avoid getting frozen on since you need mobility to make plays around the map.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't use E aggressively without tracking his E cooldowns, as getting caught by his E2 while your E is down often results in death.
  • Never all-in post-6 unless you're certain he can't turn with your stolen R.
