LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this lane clearly, especially at level 2 when you have Q and E to poke and reposition before Yorick has meaningful Ghoul sustain; post-6 the matchup becomes more dangerous because Maiden provides him sustained pressure and split-push threat that forces you to either duel him with Ghouls present or rotate, which dilutes your lane dominance.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to proc vitals with E dashes through him, use W to parry his Q empowered auto or his E activation burst, and disengage before his Ghouls accumulate enough to deal meaningful damage; short trades where you hit a vital and back off are far more efficient than extended fights where Ghouls whittle you down.
Wave Control
- Keep the wave near your side of the lane in the early game to deny him safe E casts on the wave that generate Ghouls, as his entire trading and sustain kit depends on having Ghouls active; if you let him freely stack Ghouls on the wave, you lose the attrition war even though you win the direct duel.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use W to parry his Ghouls or his basic abilities — save it strictly for his Q-empowered auto or his E activation, because those are the only moments his burst is high enough to justify the parry, and wasting W on a Ghoul auto leaves you defenseless during his actual power window.
