Who Wins

  • You lose early trades levels 1-3 against Volibear's Q-W combo due to his higher base damages and your lack of sustain.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is short Q pokes to proc vitals when his Q is down, then immediately back off to avoid his W bite.
  • Save W to riposte his Q engage, then follow up with your own Q-auto-E combo for a favorable trade.

Wave Control

  • Focus on freezing the wave near your tower and farming safely until level 6, using Q to last-hit from range when possible.
