Who Wins
- You lose early trades pre-6 due to Riven's superior burst combo and mobility, but the matchup becomes skill-favored post-6 when your R gives you sustain and percent max health true damage.
- Level 2 is particularly dangerous as Riven gets her full Q-W combo while you only have basic abilities.
How to Trade
- You want to use Q to proc vitals and immediately W to block her third Q or W stun, then disengage with the movement speed from vital procs.
- Extended trades favor you if you can parry a key ability, but short burst trades heavily favor Riven due to her animation canceling.
Wave Control
- You should freeze the wave near your tower early to avoid Riven's all-in potential and force her to overextend for CS.
