Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win this matchup if you can close the gap consistently — Mel has no reliable escape and her E root requires you to walk into it, so aggressive level 2 all-ins after hitting W on her Q poke are your primary window.
- Post-6, your R gives you a healing reduction and burst window that Mel cannot sustain through, and her W reflection does not stop your R's true damage proc on Vitals.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to bait out her W before committing — her W has a cooldown and she will panic-use it early, so dash in with Q to proc a Vital, back off, then re-engage once W is down for a full extended trade.
- Avoid trading during her passive-empowered auto windows since the bonus projectiles add meaningful burst damage at range before you close in.
Wave Control
