Who Wins
- You lose pre-6 due to Hwei's superior range and ability to poke you down while you farm, but you need to survive until 6.
- Post-6 you dominate all-ins with R as the confined mid lane space makes it nearly impossible for Hwei to kite your engage effectively.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is short Q-auto-Q back trades when Hwei uses abilities on the wave, avoiding extended fights until you have R.
- Use W reactively to parry his E abilities rather than proactively, as good Hwei players will bait out your parry timing.
Wave Control
- Let Hwei push early waves and look to freeze near your tower where you can run him down the long lane.
- Once you hit 6, you can start forcing fights in the middle of the lane where his escape routes are limited.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste W on his Q poke abilities as they're not worth parrying and you need it for his E crowd control.
- Avoid taking too much poke early game as you need sufficient health to all-in effectively once you reach your power spikes.
