LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Draven wins the 2v2 almost unconditionally — his level 1 auto-attack damage with spinning axes far exceeds your Q poke, and Blitzcrank's Q threat forces you to play so far back that you cannot trade effectively.
- Post-6, you gain R for wave-clearing and skirmish pressure, but Draven + Blitzcrank still win a committed 2v2 unless Blitzcrank has already burned his Q.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to Q poke from max range when Blitzcrank's Q is on cooldown, then immediately E away to reset positioning — never commit to an extended trade because Draven's sustained DPS and Blitzcrank's W speed make you lose any prolonged fight.
- Use Blitzcrank's hook cooldown windows as your only real opportunity to step up.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave fast when Blitzcrank is out of position to deny him hook angles, then freeze near your tower once the wave is even — this forces Draven to overextend to farm, making him vulnerable to Naafiri's engage while keeping you safe from hooks.
- Avoid slow-pushing into a large wave that gives Blitzcrank a static target to hook.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not E aggressively toward the enemy to trade — your E is your only escape from a Blitzcrank hook, and burning it offensively means you die to the follow-up.
- Respecting that one ability is the single most important mechanical discipline in this lane.
