Who Wins
- You lose levels 1-3 as Azir outranges you heavily and can poke freely with soldiers while you struggle to farm safely.
- At level 6, you gain kill pressure with your ultimate but Azir still has range advantage and can disengage with his dash.
How to Trade
- You need to look for quick Q-E-auto trades when Azir mispositions or wastes his soldier positioning.
- Always use your E to gap close then immediately back off with the return dash to avoid extended trades where his DPS will outdamage you.
Wave Control
- You should focus on shoving waves quickly with Q to roam and find advantages elsewhere rather than trying to fight Azir directly.
- Let him push into you when possible so you can look for all-ins with jungle assistance or when he overextends.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must avoid trying to trade when Azir has multiple soldiers positioned aggressively as his DPS will be too high.
- Don't waste your E dash to engage when his ultimate is available, as he can easily disengage and leave you vulnerable to ganks.
