LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose this lane; Orianna outranges you significantly, and your Q is your only ranged tool, which she can dodge by moving unpredictably while her ball is already on you.
- Post-6, you do not suddenly win the 1v1 either — your R provides strong sustain but Orianna's R knockup can interrupt your healing window, and her burst with Q+W+R+E is high enough to kill you before your regeneration becomes relevant if she has items.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to walk up aggressively when her ball is off cooldown or mispositioned away from her, forcing her to choose between taking melee damage or burning E to reposition the ball; if she E's to the ball, she takes your W shred during the animation.
- Landing your Q on her to slow her movement is critical before attempting to close distance, as she will simply kite you indefinitely if you have no slow applied.
Wave Control
- You want to let the wave push toward you early so you can farm safely under tower without overextending into her poke range, and use your passive health regeneration to recover between trades rather than forcing fights you cannot win.
- Once you hit level 6 and have some HP items, you can start looking to shove back and create pressure, but do not sacrifice CS by walking up recklessly before you have enough bulk to absorb her Q+auto harassment.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not activate your R reactively the moment you take burst damage — she will simply wait out the activation delay and then use her R to knock you up, wasting the most valuable seconds of your healing; instead, try to use your R preemptively when you see her commit to a full combo so the healing is already ramping before her burst lands.
