Scuttle Contest
- You lose scuttle fights at level 3 due to Kayn's superior mobility with Q and W combo allowing him to kite your cleavers effectively.
- From level 6, you can only win 1v1s if you land multiple Q's early in the fight and have R available to sustain through his burst damage.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Kayn will likely start his buff opposite to yours and look for a full clear into scuttle, as he needs early form progress and won't risk early duels.
- Expect him to prioritize farming over ganking pre-6 unless he spots free opportunities.
Invade or Not
- You should not invade early as Kayn's Q mobility and W slow make him difficult to catch, plus he clears faster than you.
- Your best invasion timing is post-6 when you have R sustain, targeting his camps when he's showing on the opposite side of the map.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't chase Kayn through walls with your Q as he can easily escape with Q mobility and you'll waste time.
- Avoid fighting him in narrow jungle corridors where his W becomes easier to land and harder for you to dodge.
