LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Cho'Gath wins most exchanges because his Q knockup and E silence combo let him trade without you responding effectively, and his passive sustain means he recovers HP between trades just like you do.
- Post-6, you become significantly harder to kill due to R, but Cho'Gath's R true damage can still execute you if he stacks it high enough, so neither side has a clean kill threat.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to land Q to slow Cho'Gath and prevent him from walking onto you for his E silence, then use W to shred his MR and deal sustained damage while staying at the edge of his auto-attack range.
- Avoid extended trades when his Q and E are up, as the silence from E completely shuts down your ability to use abilities and sustain mid-fight.
Wave Control
- Push the wave consistently using W to clear minions and deny Cho'Gath passive stacks from last-hitting, since his passive requires kills to restore HP and mana.
- If you deny him minions, his sustain degrades and he becomes more vulnerable to all-ins, but be careful not to shove so hard that you get caught in a gank while his Q knockup sets up the kill.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk into melee range to trade when both his Q and E are available, because the silence from E prevents you from activating your own abilities and negates your entire kit for its duration.
- Many Mundo players underestimate how punishing the silence is and throw away their HP bar trying to brute-force trades they cannot win.
