Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose almost every extended trade because Ziggs outranges you significantly and his W knockback interrupts your engage attempts; post-6, you win decisively if you land Q first to proc your passive shield before all-inning, as your R into E combo deals burst damage Ziggs cannot survive at equal gold.
How to Trade
- Your only viable trade pattern is to wait for Ziggs to push the wave into you, walk up to proc Q on him when he steps forward to shove, then immediately cancel the moonlight with an auto to proc your passive shield before he can W you away; never attempt a full all-in without R available unless he has already burned W.
Wave Control
- You want to let Ziggs push the wave to your tower early since you have no safe way to contest his shove, then use the tower to help clear and look for a Q poke when he overextends; once you hit 6, you can start shoving back aggressively because your all-in threat forces him to respect your wave presence.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not attempt to all-in Ziggs when his W is available and off cooldown, as it will knock you back mid-dash and completely cancel your combo, wasting your R cooldown and leaving you exposed in his range for a punishing counter-trade.
