LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you lose the scuttle fight against Taliyah because her W ground zone forces you to either disengage or take heavy damage while she kites you with Q poke; you have no reliable gap-close without R and your shield from passive requires landing Q first.
- From level 6, you win the 1v1 only if you land Q to proc your passive shield before engaging with R, then immediately chain E to prevent her from repositioning onto her W zone, as fighting inside her W terrain is a near-guaranteed loss.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Taliyah will almost always start Red Buff side if she is on blue side (Red → Krugs → Raptors → Scuttle) or Blue Buff side if red side (Blue → Gromp → Wolves → Scuttle), as she clears efficiently with Q and prefers to hit level 3 with a safe path before contesting.
- She will look to gank early through her W terrain displacement rather than fighting you directly, so expect her to appear in lanes with long corridors where her W pushes enemies into walls.
Invade or Not
- You should not invade Taliyah early (pre-6) because she out-ranges you significantly, her W zone completely negates your engage pattern, and she can simply walk away while poking you down with Q.
- If you want to invade, do so at level 6 when you have R to close distance instantly, targeting her second buff camp when you have vision confirming she is on the opposite side of the map.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk into her W terrain to fight her under any circumstance, as it roots you in place and she will freely land Q volleys while you are immobilized, turning any trade heavily in her favor.
- Additionally, avoid using R as your primary engage tool without first landing Q to proc your passive shield, because without that shield you will take her full burst combo before you can deal meaningful damage.
