Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior sustain and raw damage output, especially at level 1-2 where Wukong lacks escape tools.
- Post-6 you still have the advantage in extended trades, but Wukong's R gives him outplay potential and better all-in burst if he gets ahead.
How to Trade
- Look for short Q poke when Wukong goes for CS, then immediately back off to avoid his E-Q-W trade combo.
- If he commits with E, you can run him down with W slow into full combo since his W clone won't save him from your sustained damage.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish priority and deny Wukong's weak early game, but be careful not to overextend past river without vision.
- After level 6, maintain a slow push or freeze near your tower to force Wukong to overextend for farm.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't chase Wukong's W clone or waste abilities on it, as this gives him free repositioning and cooldown advantage.
- Avoid trading when your Q is on cooldown since Wukong can easily win short trades with his E-Q combo when you lack your main damage tool.
