Who Wins

  • You win most trades levels 1-5 through superior base damages and passive stacking, especially if you land Q outer ring.
  • Post-6, you can still win if you avoid her E stun and force short trades, but extended fights favor her once she stacks passive and has R resets.

How to Trade

  • Your optimal trading pattern is E pull into W auto-reset, then either Q if she stays close or save it for when she tries to disengage.
  • Always aim for Q outer ring to maximize damage and healing while denying her the ability to stick on you.

Wave Control

  • You want to maintain wave control in the center or push toward her tower to create longer chase distances for all-ins.
  • Avoid letting her freeze near her tower where she can safely farm and scale, as this gives her too much safety.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste E on minions or use it predictably when she has her E available, as good Irelias will dodge and punish your cooldown.
