Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades if you can reach Gnar, but he controls the engagement with his range advantage.
- Post-6 you have kill pressure with R execute, but Mega Gnar's R can completely turn fights around if he transforms during your all-in.
How to Trade
- Look for opportunities when Gnar steps up for CS or when his rage bar is high, forcing him into Mega form where he loses mobility.
- Use E to pull him when he's overextended, then W for the slow and Q for healing while he can't easily escape.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to deny Gnar's freeze potential, but be ready to give up CS when he has rage advantage.
- Let him push into you mid-game so you can run him down the long lane when he overextends.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't chase Gnar when he has low rage and can kite you indefinitely with E hops.
- Avoid fighting in Mega form unless you have a significant health advantage, as his W stun and R knockback can completely negate your lead.
