Who Wins
- You win level 1-3 trades decisively through your passive bleed and higher base damages.
- At level 6, you win all-ins if you can stack 5 passive stacks before ulting for the reset potential.
How to Trade
- You should start trades with W slow, then weave autos between Q casts to stack passive quickly.
- Always try to hit outer ring Q for maximum damage and healing while maintaining bleed stacks.
Wave Control
- You want to freeze the wave near your tower to force Garen to overextend for CS where you can punish him.
- Avoid hard pushing unless you can dive or recall, as Garen's passive lets him sustain through poke.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your E pull when Garen has Q available as he can cleanse the slow and escape easily.
- Never chase too deep without ghost or flash as Garen's Q movement speed can help him escape ganks you've set up.
