Who Wins
- You dominate levels 1-3 completely if you can get in range, as your passive stacks and base damages far exceed Gangplank's early game.
- At level 6, you still win all-ins easily but need to be more careful of his barrel poke and disengage potential.
How to Trade
- You want to use your E pull when Gangplank steps up to Q minions or place barrels, then follow with W auto reset and continue chasing.
- Ghost is crucial for sticking to him after the initial engage, as he will try to kite you with movement speed from barrels.
Wave Control
- You should look to freeze the wave in the middle or slightly on your side to create long lanes for chasing Gangplank down.
- Avoid pushing into his tower where he can farm safely with Q, instead maintain pressure in positions where you can run him down.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your E pull on barrels when Gangplank is far away, as this gives him free poke windows while your key engage tool is on cooldown.
- Never chase too deep without vision or when low on health, as Gangplank's team can easily collapse on an overextended Darius.
