Who Wins
- You lose early levels 1-3 as Illaoi's E-W combo outdamages your Q-W, and she can zone you from CS with tentacle pressure.
- At level 6, you gain a significant advantage as your R execute damage combined with your CC can kill her before she completes her ultimate combo.
How to Trade
- You should trade with Q-W-E when Illaoi misses her E, then immediately back off to avoid extended trades where her passive tentacles favor her.
- Never trade when she has her E available, as getting pulled will result in losing 40-50% of your health.
Wave Control
- You want to freeze the wave near your tower early to avoid Illaoi's all-in potential and force her to overextend for CS.
- After level 6, you can slow push and look for dives with jungle assistance since your CC setup is reliable.
