LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win extended trades if you land Q to enable E spam, but Yasuo's passive shield and E mobility make short trades dangerous — he can dash through minions to dodge your Q and trade back favorably at level 1-2; level 3 is your first real spike where Q into sustained E pressure becomes threatening if he overextends.
- Post-6, your R is a hard counter to his R setup since he needs knockup to engage, and your sustained DPS with R's movement speed makes kiting him in an extended fight heavily favor you, but a well-timed W can negate your R entirely.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trade is to land Q first to poison him, then spam E repeatedly while repositioning backward — never stand still, as his E dashes make him hard to track and you need to keep him in E range without letting him auto-attack you.
- Avoid committing to trades when his passive shield is up, as the first E hit will be wasted and he can punish the window before your Q refreshes.
Wave Control
- Push the wave consistently to deny him the minion density he needs to dash freely with his E — a large wave with many minions gives him too many dash targets to dodge your Q and engage on you.
- Shoving him under tower also limits his roam threat, which is significant since he can snowball side lanes easily.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk up to poke without confirming his E is on cooldown — his E has a short cooldown and he can dash onto you instantly to trade autos and Q, which will win him short trades even if you have poison stacked.
- Respecting his W is also critical; many Cassiopeia players waste their R into his W, throwing the kill opportunity entirely.
