Who Wins

  • You win most early trades pre-6 with Q2 true damage and W shield, especially short trades where you can disengage before he stacks damage.
  • Post-6 you have guaranteed kill pressure with R as it removes his minion mobility, but be careful of his R damage if he lands Q3 knockup first.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is W poke when he's farming, then E engage when his Q stacks are low or when he's isolated from minions.
  • Use Q1-auto-Q2 for maximum true damage, then disengage with E or continue the all-in if you have R available.

Wave Control

  • You want to maintain wave control to deny his minion mobility - either freeze near your side or create slow pushes that limit his E options.
  • Avoid letting large minion waves build up in the middle of the lane where he can freely dash around.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't use E aggressively when his tornado is stacked unless you're committing to an all-in with R, as he can easily Q3 you during your E animation.
  • Never fight extended trades in large minion waves where he can constantly dash around and stack his passive shield.
