LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Pantheon wins most direct trades due to his W stun, passive shield, and high base damage on Q — you cannot reliably all-in him early, and level 1-2 he simply out-damages you if he plays aggressively.
- Post-6, your R gives you the ability to trap him under tower or in a corner, which is the primary way you flip this matchup; in an open lane without your R setup, he still trades favorably unless you are significantly ahead.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to use E to close distance only when his passive shield is already consumed — either by a minion hit or a previous ability — then immediately Q1 into him and look for the Q2 slow to extend the trade.
- Never engage with E when his passive is up, as the shield absorbs your Q1 and he will immediately W stun you and win the short trade.
Wave Control
- Push the wave consistently to deny him the ability to all-in you under his own tower safety, and use the wave pressure to force him to last-hit under tower, which strips his passive shield from minion hits and makes him easier to engage on.
- Avoid letting the wave freeze near his tower, as that environment heavily favors his short burst pattern and removes your ability to disengage safely.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E aggressively into him when his passive shield is active — this is the single most common mistake in this matchup and it results in you eating a full W stun while your primary damage ability is negated.
- Additionally, avoid extended trades at levels 1-3 where his Q stacks and passive regeneration will consistently out-sustain your damage output.
