Who Wins

Pre-6, you lose the 2v2.
Poppy's W directly counters your E engage by displacing you before you can lock onto a target, and Draven's burst punishes any failed engage immediately.
Post-6, your R lets you isolate Draven away from Poppy, which is your only reliable win condition — a 1v1 against Draven in your R is winnable if you land your E.

Your best trading pattern is to wait for Poppy to use her W on Kai'Sa or miss it, then immediately E onto Draven and R him before Poppy can reposition to peel.
Never engage when Poppy's W is available, as it will cancel your E lock-on or displace you out of your own R zone.

You want the wave pushed to their side so Draven is forced to catch axes near the wall, limiting his movement and making your E easier to land.
A pushed wave also means Poppy is farther from her tower safety net when you look for an engage.

Do not use your R on Poppy — she can simply R you out of her own R zone, wasting your ultimate entirely.
Always target Draven with your R, and make sure Poppy's W is on cooldown before you commit to any engage.
