LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you win the scuttle fight decisively if you can close the gap before Locke stacks Q marks on you — your W-enhanced sustain and raw AD pressure overwhelm Locke's early magic damage output, which is weak before he has AP items and full stack setup.
- Force the fight immediately on contact rather than letting him kite and layer Q stacks, since your passive healing and bleed sustain outpace his poke at this stage.
Predicted Jungle Path
- From level 6, your sure win condition is diving Locke when his W is on cooldown or already active — if he has already committed W, he cannot recast it to heal until it expires, meaning your sustained bleed damage during that window will outpace his recovery.
- Avoid fighting him when he has full Q stacks ready and his E up, as the E dash into W all-in with stacked bonus damage is his peak kill window and your bleed alone won't save you if you're bursted below 40% health instantly.
Invade or Not
- Locke will most likely run a standard full clear starting either Red or Blue side depending on his team's leash, then look to path toward scuttle around 3:15–3:30 while potentially hovering near mid lane to fish for a Q mark into E gank.
- He benefits from farming safely early to hit his first item spike, so expect a relatively passive clear with occasional gank attempts on overextended laners rather than early aggression into you.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not let Locke freely stack Q marks on you during a skirmish by walking in and out of range — each stack he builds translates directly into massive bonus damage on his E dash and subsequent auto attacks, and if you engage into three stacks you are effectively walking into a pre-loaded burst combo.
- Commit fully or disengage fully; half-measures against Locke's stack mechanic are what get you killed.
