Who Wins
- Caitlyn + Lux wins pre-6 through superior range and poke damage, as your engage tools are limited by Lux Q interrupting your W and their ability to kite backwards.
- Post-6 the matchup improves significantly when Ashe gets R, allowing you to follow up her ultimate with W engage for guaranteed kills.
Synergy & Trading
- Look for Q hits on either enemy when they step forward to trade or CS, immediately signaling Ashe to follow up for passive stacks.
- Use W defensively to block Caitlyn headshots and Lux E damage, then look for counter-engage if they overextend.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam when the wave is pushed and Ashe is safe under tower, typically after helping her shove with Q on minions.
- Best roam timings are when mid lane is pushed toward your side or when jungle objectives are spawning, as your R provides excellent teamfight initiation.
