Who Wins
- You lose pre-6 as your engage range is shorter than their poke range, and Senna can heal back trade damage.
- Post-6 remains difficult as your R can be interrupted by Senna's W and they can kite your engage attempts.
Synergy & Trading
- Look for Q hits on the closer target (usually Kog'Maw) then immediately W to Akali for follow-up damage and passive stacks.
- Use E to block Senna's Q poke and Kog'Maw's autos during extended trades, positioning to protect Akali's all-in attempts.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam when the wave is pushing away from you and Akali can farm safely under tower, typically after failed engage attempts.
- Look for mid lane roams around levels 4-5 when your Q-W combo can secure kills with your mid laner.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use W aggressively to gap close without vision of enemy jungle as you'll be left without escape tools.
