Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior range and poke potential, as Zed lacks gap closers and must walk up for CS.
- Post-6 Zed wins all-ins with R, but you can still win if you land E-Q combo before he engages.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading is E-Q-W when Zed walks up for CS, then immediately back off to avoid his W-E-Q retaliation.
- Never trade autos or extended fights as his energy regenerates faster than your mana.
Wave Control
- Push waves early to establish range advantage and force Zed to CS under tower where he's vulnerable to poke.
- After 6, maintain slow pushes to avoid being dove, but don't hard shove without vision as you're immobile.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use E carelessly as it's your only self-peel against his R engage.
- Standing too close to your own minions allows him to hit both you and the wave with W-E-Q, giving him free poke and push.
