Who Wins

  • Pre-6: You win most 2v2s when landing hooks due to Tristana's strong follow-up damage and your displacement combo preventing enemy retaliation.
  • Post-6: You completely dominate as your R + Tristana R creates unavoidable kill pressure on any hooked target.

Synergy & Trading

  • Focus on hooking the closer target (usually Jinx) since she has no mobility spells, then immediately E-R combo while Tristana jumps in with W-E-Q.
  • Use W to close gaps for hook angles or to help Tristana chase down low enemies after successful engages.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Don't roam in this matchup - your hook threat is too valuable for maintaining lane pressure and your ADC needs protection from Lux poke.
  • Stay in lane to constantly threaten hooks and zone enemies from farm and positioning.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't hook through multiple minions early game as the damage reduction makes your combo less effective, and don't hook when Tristana is too far away to follow up immediately.
  • Never waste hook on Lux when she has Q available, as she can root Tristana during the jump and turn the fight around.
